Bingo and Props

Hi Band Fams!

 

Hope you are continuing to enjoy your summer!

 

Wanted to get a message out regarding Bingo this month and plans for this year’s show props.

 

BINGO

 

First off, the kids have been so much better about attending Bingo!  John Kempsell has offered to post student names each week on the band Facebook page as a reminder. If the students are able to stay for both sessions, that is great!  Please make arrangements with the Bingo Manager of the week.

 

This Sunday, July 29^th is CRITICAL!!!! Margaret Wilshek tells me there are only THREE ADULTS!!!  We cannot run our session with that few people!  Please notify her or just SHOW UP to help.  The Bingo Company is on 64^th and Wadsworth and you need to be there by 6 PM at the latest. 

 

Bingo contributes $30,000.00 annually to our program and we have about 15 families that actually contribute to that.  WE NEED YOU!!!  I cannot stress this enough!  WE NEED EVERYBODY!!!!  Without Bingo, our program will not survive!!!

 

PROPS

 

Ms. Hatcher has requested that parents interested in helping with Props this year attend a meeting on August 7^th, 6:30 PM.  She will have lots of information and her plan ready to go. 

 

There are floors to paint, scaffolding to build and as I understand it, backdrops including a school, house, college and mountains!  All like the Board Game of LIFE!
