We are at a crucial time for the Pomona Marching Festival on October 6, 2012. We have only filled 50 volunteer positions to date and have a very long way to go. Pomonafest is the Band's single largest fundraiser. It is critical that all Band Families sign up to participate. In all honesty, we cannot do this without everyone. There are a total of 180 positions and we have less than a month to plan, staff, and execute one of the largest marching band events in the Western United States.
Remember that this Festival is one of our larger fundraisers for the General Fund and will help to keep Band fees down.I am attaching a list of volunteer positions, so please sign up for the positions you can work. Feel free to volunteer family members and it will save them 20.00 entry fee to the Festival.
There will be a drawing at the October Booster Meeting for a $100.00 gift card. All volunteers that work the whole day will be eligible for the drawing.

Note: The only position that is completely filled for the day is the sales table.
*We are also looking for people to help out on Friday, October 5th, in the evening. If you are available that night, we have work to do at NAAC in order to prepare for the Festival. Let me know if you can assist.
Also keep in mind that the students will need to be picked up at NAAC, so plan on helping with the clean up after the festival.
