Gain of 1200 ft elevation in the first 5 miles.  Also some pretty steep climbs in miles 7 & 10.  Even with all that uphill I came in WAY under my expected time!  I came in at 1:57:15 (My goal was 2:10) .    Good race for anybody who does not like the real huge races where you are shoulder to shoulder with people the entire time, and nice scenery even at night.  viva Las Vegas!!
