Volunteer schedule for Pomonafest

Hello Band Families,

Listed below is a lot of important information.  Please read it carefully and let me know if you have any questions.

FRIDAY NIGHT HELP-  The Pomona Band Family is responsible for putting up the Windscreen as well as cleaning the stadium the evening of October 5th.  We will be meeting at 6;00pm at the South entrance to help put the windscreen up.  We will be meeting again around 10:30pm (after the football game) to clean the stadium to prepare it for the Festival.  Please come down and join us.  The more people we have, the less time it will take. 

POMONA BAND STUDENTS TRANSPORTATION- The Pomona Band will ride the school bus to the stadium around 1:45, after their normal Saturday rehearsal and lunch.  You will need to provide your student a ride home from the stadium.  They will be bringing their uniforms home with them and will need to return them on Monday morning to the Uniform Temp.

VOLUNTEER CHECK-IN - All volunteers who are scheduled for Portals or Ticket booths, please enter at the front gate and ask for Lori DeWolf or Heather Santistevan at least 15 minutes before you are scheduled.   They will have your name tags.  All other volunteers need to check in at the South Gate with Greg and Dianne Phillips.

FINAL PACKET-I have attached the final packet that is given to all of the Band Directors.  There are schedules,maps and other important information that you may need.  There is a map of NAAC (last page) that shows where to park along with the layout . Let me know if you have any questions. 

EASY UP /SHELTER- We are in need of some Easy-ups to put up for the judges as well as certain areas around the stadium.  If you have one that you can lend us please let me know.  We may also need tarps for the sides if the weather acts up.

JUDGE TRANSPORTATION- We are in need of transportation for the Judges from NAAC at 9:30 to their hotel (Red Lion Inn on I-70 and Quebec).  Let me know as soon as possible if you have a large vehicle that can transport 7 judges.

BE PREPARED-  As you all know the weather is unpredictable this time of year, so be prepared with whatever you might need (sunscreen, coat, hat, rain poncho, hand warmers and food and water etc....)

ASSIGNMENTS -Here is the schedule as of October 1st.  Please check to see if you are on the list.  If you have any questions or you are not on the list , let me know.

There are still more positions that need to be filled.  If you can work another time/position, please let me know.  There is a list of open positions below as well.
