Monday 1 October 2012

Hi everyone,

The order form for the poinsettia fundraiser is attached.  We will be offering the same items as last year—red, white, and burgundy poinsettias in three sizes and a centerpiece containing a red poinsettia surrounded by white euphorbia.  In addition, we will be offering zygocactus (Christmas cactus) in assorted colors.  All plants are from Brown’s Greenhouse in Arvada.

All potted plants will come with pot covers; the centerpiece comes in a terracotta pot.  Please be aware that customers do not get to choose the color of zygocactus they want—we will get an assortment and fill orders from that assortment.  Also, please note that if the greenhouse runs out of poinsettias in any of the colors we offer, other colors may be substituted.

This is a student account fundraiser.  The table below shows how much money goes into your account for each plant sold:

You can start selling at any time.  Orders and money need to be turned in by the end of the day on Tuesday, October 23, 2012.  This is only a couple of days after we return from Zia, but we’ll have a better chance of avoiding substitutions if we turn in our order in mid-October.  Plants will be delivered on Friday, December 7, 2012.

Thank you,
